Workshop/Lecture Topics
All topics can be delivered in 1/2-hour, 1-hour, or 90-minute lectures. Those noted with an asterisk (*) can also be presented as half-day workshops or in three 1.5-hour seminars. Every workshop comes with handouts so the learning can continue!

Using The Power of Your Inner Mind
In this interactive lecture we focus on how the three levels of the mind are structured, how these levels interact, and when and how to use each one for maximum benefit. Using examples from science, the bible, historical records, client case studies, and our own personal experiences, we establish the demonstrable relationship between our minds and our lives. Volunteers from the “audience” are asked to participate in various exercises to truly give the attendees concrete examples of the immediate power of the inner mind. Techniques are taught throughout, so that participants can go home with several tools to enhance their lives right away, empowered in the knowledge that we are all the architects of our own destiny.

Weight Loss The Natural Way*
There is so much more to being slim than dieting! People who struggle with weight already know about counting calories, eating off of smaller plates, and how to choose or create healthy meals; they know what to do, but they’re just not able to do it or stick with it for permanent weight loss. In this workshop we get right to the source of the problem: a conflict in the subconscious mind. If you’ve ever tried sworn to yourself that you’re going to bypass the cookies in the kitchen or the candy on the receptionist’s desk, only to find yourself eating them anyway, you have such a conflict. In fact, it’s the most common reason I’ve seen that people can’t take the weight off and keep it off. We’ll discuss how that conflict arises and show several examples that will have the audience laughing with relief. Techniques will be taught to resolve that subconscious conflict not only for permanent weight loss, but for any other cases of personal “self-sabotage.”

Peak Performance Class
The aim of this workshop is to teach athletes of all levels and in any sport, how to use self-hypnosis to improve their game.

The agenda includes:

  • a brief discussion of hypnosis
  • the current use of hypnosis and visualization in sports
  • the three people in each of us and the three ways in which we learn
  • the power of self-talk
  • removing negative imprints
  • how the subconscious responds to stimulants
  • a group induction into trance with audio, visual and kinesthetic suggestions
  • the six steps of sports enhancement
  • planning out suggestions and rehearsing self-hypnosis
  • establishing an instant anchor
  • individual practice session

Many athletes, both amateur and professional, use some sort of visualization or self-hypnosis, with mixed results. In this workshop you’ll learn how to remove obstacles to success so that you can immediately begin to enjoy your sport more and see improvements rapidly and safely. Overcome the fear of injury, mentally put your opponent in his place, devote more time for workouts, beat your personal best, up your chances for a scholarship, do it for the team, or just increase your own self-confidence!

This can be delivered in one 4-hour workshop or 4 1-hour workshops.

Increasing Prosperity*
Simple small changes in the way you think about, talk about and feel about money can bring big results. We examine limiting beliefs about money and practice identifying and eliminating those beliefs (which often were never ours to begin with, but were “given” to us by our parents, church leaders and/or culture). Participants are shown new ways to look at and experience their money and money in general, so that fears about lack or not-enough dissolve in a rapid, comfortable fashion. This fun, interactive workshop has immediate benefits and measurable results. Stories from past workshops and prosperity clients will have the participants joyfully understanding that they, too, can increase their personal prosperity and have fun even when they’re paying the bills.

No More Stress: How to Relax & Rejuvenate for Optimum Health
US companies lost an estimated $300 billion nationally in 2001 due to absenteeism, turnover, poor morale and lost productivity - plus medical, legal and insurance fees - related to job stress. In fact, stress is the number one cause of illness, low energy levels, sleep disorders, weight gain and relationship problems. Furthermore, it’s been found that the major cause of stress in human beings is unfinished tasks. As long as we have things on our “To Do” list, nervous tension builds up in the system. During this workshop we learn how to counteract the Zeigarnich Effect (which concluded that 83% of people could only remember what they had left to do, not what they had completed), how to bring about genuine relaxation in under 3 minutes, and how to de-stress the body, mind and spirit so that in moments anyone can feel physically refreshed and rejuvenated, and more mentally alert. When a person is able to shed stress and relax, the benefits are tremendous: it’s easier to lose weight, stay motivated, feel happy, set and achieve goals, repair physical damage to the body, stay focused, act on inspiration and intuition, and follow through on commitments. Various exercises demonstrating the de-stress process are practiced, so no matter level of stress you’re enduring, you can experience relief.

Spring Cleaning*
This 3-part workshop covers detoxifying the body, mind and then spirit. Each section targets a part of our experience, beginning at the more material level of the body and moving up to the refined level of the spirit. Long lost techniques for clearing out the junk are combined with modern exercises to help you feel like a brand new person, inside and out. Some suggestions are offered for alternative health care options, and coupons are provided for discounts on sessions with these other practitioners. Samples of detoxifying foods are brought in for participants to try, as well as recipes and exercises to continue at home. Aspects of self-hypnosis are taught, so that each person feels empowered to remove any limiting beliefs or old negative energies in the mind. Spiritual meditation techniques are shared with the group as well, showing everyone how to feel closer to whomever they imagine their Creator to be.

How To Use Self-Hypnosis To Reach Your Goals*
How is self-hypnosis different from visualization and affirmations? How do you do it? Is it really effective? When can I expect to see changes? These questions and many others are answered during this interactive workshop. Everyone is taught to bring themselves into hypnosis, taught how to craft suggestions for rapid results, how to work on more than one challenge at a time, and how to add auto-suggestion to the practice for maximum benefit. Case studies, the difference between hypnosis and self-hypnosis, and what NOT to do are also discussed. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice self-hypnosis during the lecture, so that all feel confident that they’re doing it correctly.

Hypnosis 101: What Really Happens “In Trance?”
People have been using the hypnotic trance for millennia, and it’s nothing like Hollywood makes it out to be! Everyone has been in the hypnotic trance many times, whether they realized it or not. In fact, every time you’re absorbed in a good book or movie, you’re in this altered state of consciousness. This lecture explains what hypnosis actually is, what it ISN’T, how the mind works, how we’ve been “programmed” by various external sources since early childhood, and – most importantly – how to start “re-programming” ourselves. The trance state is explained, and all are invited to experience it during group hypnosis. This lecture may be presented as related to specific issues, such as weight loss, stress reduction, smoking cessation, etc.

Developing & Using Your Intuition (for Business or Personal Relationships)*
Everyone has psychic abilities. Let me show you your own in this exciting, high-energy workshop! Psychic ability (otherwise known as gut instinct, hunch, a feeling, or intuition) is not a gift, it’s a skill, and just like any skill it can be honed with structured practice. Knowing HOW we get psychic impressions is an important part of developing the skill, so during this very interactive workshop, the para-senses (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clairscent, and clairgustience) are explained and experienced so that each participant learns which of these is naturally their strongest. We also learn the difference between a psychic impression and a self-generated thought, and how to discern the kind of information you’re getting.
